1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Impulse ("the App"), developed by CodeFlow Solutions Mateusz Kwapiszewski, handles your data. Impulse is a financial wellness app that helps you resist impulse purchases by enforcing a waiting period before buying. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.

2. Information we collect
Impulse is designed with a privacy-first approach. The app stores all data locally on your device and does not transmit personal data to any external servers.
Locally stored data
The App stores the following data exclusively on your device: items you add (name, price, category, waiting period), your savings history and statistics, streak and achievement progress, and your premium subscription status. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.
Billing data
If you subscribe to Impulse Premium ($2.99/month), the purchase is processed entirely by Google Play. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information, billing address, or financial details. Google Play handles all transaction processing under its own Privacy Policy.
Data we do NOT collect
We do not collect personal information (name, email, phone number), location data, contacts or address book data, photos or media files, device identifiers or advertising IDs, analytics or usage tracking data, or any data transmitted to external servers.
3. How data is stored
All app data is stored in your device's local storage (localStorage). The data remains entirely on your device and is not synced to any cloud service or external server. If you uninstall the App or clear its data, all locally stored information is permanently deleted.
4. Third-party services
The App uses only one third-party service:
Google Play Billing — used solely to process premium subscription purchases. Google Play's data handling is governed by Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy). No other third-party SDKs, analytics tools, advertising networks, or tracking services are integrated into the App.
5. App permissions
Impulse requires only the INTERNET permission, which is used exclusively for communicating with Google Play Billing to verify and process premium subscription purchases. The App does not request access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts, storage, or any other device capabilities.
6. Data sharing
We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise share your data with any third parties. Since all app data is stored locally on your device and we do not collect it, there is no data for us to share.
7. Data retention and deletion
Your data is stored on your device for as long as the App is installed. You can delete all app data at any time by clearing the App's data in your device settings, using the reset option within the App, or uninstalling the App. Any of these actions permanently and irrecoverably deletes all data associated with the App.
8. Children's privacy
Impulse is not directed to children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect any personal data from children. Since the App does not collect personal data from any user, there is no risk of children's data being gathered.
9. Your rights (GDPR)
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to object. Since Impulse stores all data locally on your device and we do not collect or process personal data on our servers, you have full control over your data at all times. You can view, modify, or delete your data directly through the App or your device settings.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with UODO (Polish Data Protection Authority) at uodo.gov.pl if you believe your data protection rights have been violated.
10. Security
Your data is protected by your device's built-in security mechanisms (screen lock, encryption). Since data is stored locally and not transmitted over the internet (except for billing verification with Google Play), the risk of unauthorized access is minimized.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
